Baby E's garter stitch kimono
HipphHapp alpaca cardigan
One of my goals this year was to knit a cardigan from the yarn I've spun from the alpaca wool I bought last year
I don't know if I brought enough wool so complete the cardigan while I'm here in the Netherlands. If not, I hope to finish it when I'm back in Sweden.
I have three different colors, and most yardage of the color in the middle of the picture.
I think it will turn out nice and warm!
HippHapp alpaca cardigan, knitted top-down after my own measurements.
Honey Bee sneak peak
A sneak peak of my Honey Bee cardigan that I finished yesteraday!
More pictures will be taken when I come to Gothenburg i two weeks!
The gorgeous buttons from beadfreaky made it all come together
Tuvaliscious
Last weekend I finished a cardigan which will be a gift to my friends daugthers first birthday.
This is the first childrens clothing I've ever knitted so I really hope it's a good size!
The pattern is Little Coffee Bean Cardigan av Elizabeth Smith.
I knitted size for a 1 year old and used a total of 126 grams, 76 grams pink and 50 grams blue.
The yarn is Garnstudio Drops Muscat, a shiny (and slippery) cottonyarn.
I hope this summersweet stripes will look good on the one year old wonder!

Zestestial
I finished my latest cardigan Zestestial after Jennifer Thompsons pattern Zest two weeks ago.
It took me exactly a month to complete it. Knitted with Drops Baby Merino, a total of 4.2 skeins and 733 meters.
I could say alot of things about this pattern - I think it's a very pretty cardigan, I love the details with the cables in the back to enhance the waist and the lace is also beautiful. But I feel that there is still some work to do on this pattern.
For example - according to pattern my upperarms are a size 30, a so called size ZERO..I don't feel like a size zero girl so I knitted the sleeves two sizes bigger - same size as body - and they are tight! If I've done them a size zero they would not have fit me. I also added three lacerepeats on the arms - I thought this would make them full length, as the picture shows, but I could have added 3 or 4 to that! I have a friend who has knitted the same cardigan and the sleeves is just one issue - she had to add 14 repeats on the arms - that was TWICE as may repeats as the pattern suggested.
I think the pattern needs to be testknitted by people by all sizes to really see if it fits - you can't just knit one size and then count and think that you get all sizes right.
Well, enough complaining - here it is Zestestial!

Ice Princess - the cardigan
This is Ice Princess - the cardigan.
The first cardigan I've knitted with only my own measurements and creativity to follow.
It weighs it's good 280 grams together with 9 mother of pearl buttons.
It's knitted with Semilla DK.
I think the cardigan speaks for it self so I'll just treat you to a picturecavalcade!
At winters first came the Ice Princess
Woollen comfort
Stripes, cables and buttons
And lots of love to complete it
Thanks to my darling Philip for taking the pictures

Cardigan Course
Yesterday I was on a course, held by VisaLisa, to learn the basics of how to knit at cardigan or sweater after your own measurements. The technique is quite simple, but there are alot of things to think about and alot of changes you can do to create a more interesting design.
We learnt alot of valuable things and I think (...) that I now will be able to knit my first cardigan after my own measurements and desire.
I'm knitting with Semilla in a stealblue colour, and so far it looks terrific!

Moving Myrtle
I finished my Myrtle Cardigan some weeks ago, but yesterday I finally got the help to take som photos of it's greateness!
I call it Moving Myrtle because of the back and forth - going to Gothenburg and also the move to Gothenburg that I've used to work on my Myrtle.
I enjoyed knitting it and I enjoyed that it's practically seamless which makes both the knitting and the finishing touches so much easier. It's a clever and beautiful pattern, all in all, and I can really recomend to knit it!
I used 1.92 skeins of Malabrigo Sock Yarn, dye Solis.
So here goes a picture-cavalcade that I hope you'll enjoy. I can add that I took me and the photografer Eddy, a case of moutain climbing to take them..

Moving Myrtle
During the move (and before and after) to Gothenburg I've been knitting on my Myrtle cardigan. I'm kntting it with Malabrigo Sock, colour "Soils". I really love the greenish-blue oceanfeeling that to yarn has, and it's so soft and cuddly! It's the most expensive yarn I've ever bought so far but I guess it's worth it when knitting such a gorgeus cardi.
The body is completed as far as where the sleeves go in and I've knitted half of the first sleeve. I'm gonna knit them full length instead of 3/4. I always push the sleeves towards the elbow while inside, but when outside in wintertime I like the sleeves to be full length and cover the whole arm.
So far so good!

The lacechart is really beautiful and not to difficult to follow!
Pippisweater
This is my first sweater - have only knitted a cardigan before - and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.
BUT - I don't want to recomend the pattern, the picture is missguiding because it's another type of shoulder decrease in the pattern, and I had to get alot of extra yarn than the yardage recomened.
Any how, have kind of promised the boyfriend I will knit one for him to..
